Plant-Based Diet - It is an eating pattern that places greater emphasis on foods derived from plants (such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds and oils). A plant-based diet can be vegetarian or vegan, but does not have to be exclusively plant-based. Such diets do not have to completely exclude animal foods such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products, but proportionately more foods are chosen from plant sources. https://www.nutrition.org.uk/putting-it-into-practice/plant-based-diets/plant-based-diets/
