Plant-Based Diet - These are dietary patterns that place greater emphasis on plant-based foods (such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and oils). Plant-based diets can be vegetarian or vegan, but they do not have to be exclusively plant-based. These types of diets do not necessarily exclude animal-based foods such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy products entirely, but a proportionately larger amount of food is selected from plant sources. https://www.nutrition.org.uk/putting-it-into-practice/plant-based-diets/plant-based-diets/
