Board members, corporate partners, employees, and industry stakeholders gathered at an event held to mark Novonesis’ first anniversary.

On this special night, where nature and science came together in perfect harmony and the boundaries of biotechnology were redefined, the second panel took place under the title “Building a Sustainable Food System: Innovation and Strategies to Feed the Future.”
Ebru Akdağ, Advocate for Sustainable Food Ecosystems, and Semra Sevinç, President of Sustainable Brands Turkey, addressed the challenges facing food production and supply. They noted that global population growth, environmental pressures, and changing consumer demands demonstrate that food systems are in need of a major transformation. They emphasized that the transition to a sustainable food system is only possible through the accurate identification of existing problems and the development of innovative solutions.
